John Rafanello

"My sculpture is a personal experience that is taken from, and interpreted through, the lens of an archetype.
The archetype of Modern Man is expressed in all it’s vulnerability and heroism. Then combined with a certain-focus of inner contemplation.
It is a reflection of who we are and the possibility of where mankind may be heading.
I am inspired by the contemplation of modern man and the ever-changing complexity of human emotion as represented through figurative sculpture."
