Artist Statement

I am a resident of Naples, fl and Narragansett RI. My career in painting began in 2005.

Having no experience with a paint brush before that, it felt like a magic wand was placed

in my hand.

I've studied with many well known artists here and abroad. I began painting landscape

and still life then transitioned to abstract painting which allows me to express myself

freely using sensual colors, unusual shapes and a variety of tools.

I have a continuing love affair with painting where I dance with my canvas and

paints.

My intent is to make paintings that excite the soul and bring joy and serenity to the

viewer.
